Clothing the Community
Childhood Dreams Foundation
Inc. endeavors
to help those in need of clothes by donating new and gently used
apparel to clothing banks and homeless shelters. All clothing
is donated and delivered free of charge. We sort clothes to donate
to local communities and to donate globally. All the clothing
that is donated is in excellent, usable condition. We also donate
other items to agencies that help others in need.
Humanitarian Aid
Childhood Dreams Foundation
Inc.collects
a variety of items that are distributed back into the local community
and overseas communities free of charge to those in need. These
goods are know as In Kind Donations. The goods distributed include
clothing, shoes, household furnishings, sporting goods, medical
equipment, and educational aids such as computers, desks and
books.
Items
collected are distributed to organizations that agree to distribute
them to the needy free of charge. CDF networks and cooperates
with other Humanitarian Organizations in hope that no person
should go without the necessities of life regardless of their
ability to pay.

Donation
Containers
We
endeavor to keep our donation containers clean and neat. Our
trucks are scheduled to pick up the donations on a regular basis.
If
ever you find our donation containers to be over full or have
trash around them, please give us a call before 11:00 AM and
the site will be cleaned up that day.
If,
in the event you wish our donation containers to be removed,
simply call us. We
support and contribute to the following organizations along with
private family donations and support in times of emergency. Over
the past years we have been privileged to supported food banks
of Connecticut and North Carolina. We have recently
partnered up with IdentiKid and have purchased security scanners/printers
for local schools in the Guilford County of North Carolina.
The following are organizations
that we support.
Recently, in 2010 CDF
Inc has been involved in many projects in Belize C.A. Assisting
baby Jahzara to the
U.S for a necessary operation has been a major contribution.
Along with assisted funding and provisional assitance to those
in need of "roof over the head" project, we have been
busy.
